Financial Administrator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join the team based at our North Fort Street site, on a 12 month fixed-term, full time basis. This role will primarily support the month end close and be responsible for collecting data and the preparation of weekly reports.

This role would be ideal for someone with experience of excel and ideally would be from a Junior Finance Administration or Bookkeeping background.

Role Responsibility

  • To produce accurate and timely accounting information in accordance with Group procedures.
  • Production of weekly forecasts for all CPU cost centres.
  • Responsible for ensuring operations team are processing sales and purchase invoices in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure procedures at branch are efficient and organised.
  • Cash handling and reconciling, including ensuring cash floats are prepared in advance for use during events, credit cards, banking and controlling safe limits.
  • Assist the Management in the collation and preparation of monthly management analysis reports.
  • Assist Credit Control in recovery action.
  • To assist in maximising profitability.
  • Support the management accounts team in month end P&L production
  • To be committed to and promote continual personal professional development, achieved by internal, external training and development.
  • To undertake any other duty commensurate with this post as determined by the Site Catering Directors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Team Player
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own work load
  • Computer literate with high level MS Excel skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels

Package Description

Up to £23,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits

Fixed term - 12 months
