Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to partner with our operations team, clients, and central finance functions to deliver our contracts in line with agreed operating targets.

In this new role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Finance Managers to challenge your stakeholders to think outside the box with the view to delivering against core KPIs of margins, contract scope and commercial growth. You’ll also work closely with clients to create solutions bespoke to their needs, whilst maintaining focus on Sodexo’s interests.

Role Responsibility

• Maintain oversight of contract performance across your client portfolio
• Identify contract underperformance and working with operators to address it
• Work collaboratively with finance, business development and operations colleagues to design commercially viable solutions for bid and tender processes
• Maintain robust budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
• Identify key business drivers and work with site management to enhance financial performance
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to collate and interpret monthly business performance
• Support in-house and client contract performance reviews
• Promote positive working relationships across all finance functions

The Ideal Candidate

• Graduate calibre
• 1-2 years releated experience in a finance function
• Interested in embaring on ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualifications
• Able to work flexibly to accommodate changing work priorities
• Exposure to range of modelling techniques and sensitivity analysis
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for managing senior level relationships and difficult performance management conversations
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential
• Experience of the SAP FICO module is highly desirable
