Finance Administrator

Job Introduction

Act as the main day to day financial support for the General Catering Manager to help maximise the profitability of the contract.  Overall responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of all financial information required to accurately produce the Client Invoice.

Other duties include providing reports for monthly and quarterly reviews with key stake holders, monthly forecasting and preparing annual budgets. To include managing debt to ensure payments are received on time.

Role Responsibility

Daily Account Duties

  • Recording cash and non cash sales onto Eprophit, ensuring the cash is balancing every day and all discrepancies over €10 are fully investigated
  • Print off all Cognos, Local Autonomy Reports, and Webcom reports
  • Print off all Cognos, Local Autonomy Reports, and Webcom reports
  • Process all invoices and delivery notes on to Eprophit
  • Provide daily sales information to group manager
  • Record credit / hospitality sales

Weekly Account Duties

  • Record Hospitality and credit sales on to Eprophit
  • Close books and transit accounts every Wednesday and last working day of the month
  • Complete weekly reporting information required by head office
  • Payroll input

Monthly Management Account Duties

  • Check all accounts for correct income and expenditure through making necessary adjustments and release client invoice
  • Provide results to Client Relationship Manager to report to all managers at team meetings
  • Produce review packs for Sodexo and Client meetings
  • Forecasting

Ad Hoc Duties

  • Compliance Audits
  • Budgets (Client and Sodexo)
  • Acting on general financial issues arising from monthly reviews
  • Ensure the office is fully equipped and operational at all times
  • Support to unit managers as and when required
  • Monitor debt

The Ideal Candidate

  •  Accounting qualification (desirable)
  •  Excellent Excel skills
  •  Experience of working with non-finance colleagues
  •  Strong inter-personal skills – ability to work with colleagues and clients of all levels
  •  SAP skills
  •  Experience of using unit reporting system and EPOS reporting
