We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager with a background in Soft Services and a proven track record in delivering and driving the services on site? This might be your next career move!

We are looking for an experienced leader with drive and energy to take on our site in Swindon that includes manufacturing and office premises. We currently provide GMP cleaning, office cleaning, reception, catering and maintenance services with a view to expand in future. We want somebody who can take our services from good to great… could it be You?  We need a charismatic driven leader with a real eye for detail, previous experience managing more than one of the listed services we currently offer, financial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills would be a must in this role. Previous experience managing projects will be a great advantage.

This role will offer a great team of 40, development and career opportunities, a salary up to £46k dependent on experience and a bonus along the usual Sodexo employee benefits. Currently there is another 6 years left on the contract with the client.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Manage the on-site contract and all services to the agreed standards, ensuring that deadlines and targets are achieved
  • Manage the onsite client stakeholders (7) and Sodexo services and teams to deliver the agreed SLA and standards, acting as Sodexo primary representative on site
  • Build long-term relationships with client that add value and are based on mutual trust
  • Lead, develop, manage and motivate a high performing team to the agreed standards ensuring that the client receives services of the highest quality
  • Act as the operational interface between the clients and the account Manager/Director
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the company mission and values
  • Maximise the profitability of the contract and manage costs effectively
  • Ensure that statutory requirements and company policies and procedures are followed, and deadlines are met
  • Support the account manager/director in the development of business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs
  • Contribute to and maintain sector and account development plans, as well as supporting the change management process and associated Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) ensuring risks are mitigated
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems, processes and services

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders/clients
  • Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
  • Driven – ability and desire to make change happen, without delay and with an eye for detail
  • Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Achieve set, standards and operate to performance criteria
  • Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
  • Previous experience of operational management in a similar environment
  • People management experience

Desirable

  • IOSH managing safely qualification
  • CIEH Level 3 qualification
  • Experience of managing conflicting expectations of the client and consumer within one business area
