FM/Cleaning Supervisor

Job Introduction

We have an opportunity for an experienced FM/Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

• Lead and work with a team of GMP cleaners and FM staff to deliver a specific standard of cleaning, to the client specification.
• Develop and maintain good client relationships
• Ensure required training appropriate to staff activities is current and valid
• Ensure adherence to COSHH requirements
• Be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the cleaning operatives within your specified team.
• Undertake cleaning audits in relation to service delivery compliance, as requested.
• To assist with the ordering and distribution of cleaning consumables
• To assist with the ordering and distribution of Workwear
• To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment
• Collect and review payroll information
• Deliver team briefings as required by the Soft Services Manager
• Provide holiday/illness cover for Lab Support Technician & General Services
• Support Soft Services Manager with management of external vendors

The Ideal Candidate

• Industrial supervisory cleaning/FM experience on pharma or industrial manufacturing sites
• Possess excellent organisational and computer skills
• Ability to deal with any given situation with an effective/measured response
• You must be a strong team player with great communication skills who enjoys, working as part of, and leading a team.
• As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures, site specific guidelines / requirements and regulations to follow such, so it is vital that you have an excellent understanding/knowledge of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
