Job Introduction

Sodexo are looking for an Electrician to join our technical services team in Aberdeen.

Using a Company vehicle, you will travel around the Aberdeen area to deliver projects at client sites with direction and guidance from the Onshore Technical Projects Manager.

Role Responsibility

Carry out planned maintenance routines on electrical distribution systems in accordance with Sodexo UK&I procedures and current IEE regulations
Document all PPM repairs on report and Select documents
Repair/replace defective electrical equipment
Provide quantities of materials required for trade and projects
Observe all Sodexo UK&I and client safety rules/regulations
Maintain good housekeeping safety practices
Upkeep and compliance with risk assessments and safe systems of work
Processing of all paperwork/timesheets
Provide on-call cover on a rotation basis
Assist with other building services tasks when required- joinery, plumbing, A/C and porterage

The Ideal Candidate

Completed recognized apprenticeship as an electrician with relevant electrical qualifications:

City and Guilds 236 parts 1&2 or equivalent IEE Wiring regulations 17th edition
Inspection and testing City and Guilds 2394 & 2395 or equivalent

Previous experience working in building services
Ability to communicate efficiently with work colleagues and clients
Clean driving license
Ability to adapt and meet frequently changing work environment internally and externally
Strategic thinker/planner, problem solver and innovator
Ability to work without supervision and use own initiative within established procedures and good working practice

£33,000 - £35,000 per annum
