Electrical Engineer

Job Introduction

Due to a new contract mobilisation are looking for 2 highly motivated and capable time-served electricians to join our technical team on a manufacturing site in Wisbech. You should be of maintenance electrical engineering background with testing & Inspection qualifications. Previous experience operating in a factory environment would be highly beneficial.

As the site operates 24/7, your team would work in shifts to cover any call outs, maintenance and project works, therefore this role will require some flexibility. The role will be contracted to a 40-hour week, offering salary of £30-34k dependant on experience and the usual Sodexo employee benefits.

Role Responsibility

• To work with the site-based engineering team, sub-contractors and any other engineering specialists including clients engineering production team/s.
• Required to attend the site for electrical engineering related reasons. The client may require assistance from the engineering team which will be co-ordinated by the Senior Technical Services Engineer and or the Electrical test Engineer.
• To provide the service delivery in line with best practice, statutory compliance and to the SLA’s developed for the site.
• You will ensure that all PPM’s, electrical test and inspections are carried out in-line with Nestle’s electrical duty holder and undertake any reactive tasks that may be required/ identified.
• Small electrical installation works will also be required as and when requested by the client, all these tasks will require to be completed within the allocated timeframes co-ordinating with the helpdesk for closures and extensions of tasks.
• To complete the day to day operation of the maintenance department working with the technical services manager to ensure the client is fully aware of any maintenance activities that could impact the site operations. Provide detailed reports to aid quotations to be formed.
• It is planned to have hand held tables to assist with the receiving and closing out of tasks which will feed back into the Maximo system.
