Job Introduction

\We currently have an opportunity for a Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading  facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression

Role Responsibility

Transport items and equipment by van across and between the University of Greenwich campuses / estate or to other external locations within the UK

Handling loads on and off the vehicle to the relevant collection and delivery points.

To provide travel for staff and students between our campuses or to external locations normally within our region as required.

Carry out and record daily pre-use vehicle checks to include e.g. topping up fluid levels, inflating tyres and keeping the vehicle interiors and exteriors clean.

Working as a part of the Business Support team to ensure an effective service is provided across the contract

The Ideal Candidate

Experience of driving vans and minibuses and qualified to do so with a full clean license.

An understanding of basic vehichle maintenance preferred.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Good IT skills.

Flexible and adaptable and able to stay calm under pressure.

Able to work as a part of a team and independently.

Package Description

We are currently recruiting a full time Driver to work across the University of Greenwich Contract in London and Kent.

The hours of work would be 40 per week Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and / or weekends.
