Domestic Assistant - Salvation Army

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

Duties:

  1. To ensure that an efficient service regarding the Housekeeping provision at the Centre is maintained consistently and according to the satisfaction of the Centre and Company standard.
  2. To ensure that the methods of Cleaning comply with current practises and budgeting constraints of the Company.
  3. To ensure that Company Statutory regulations, relating to Health and Safety for the Housekeeping Services are adhered to by all members of Sodexo staff and to report any unresolved discrepancies to the Hotel Services Manager.
  4. To assist the Manager, with checking and storage of deliveries.
  5. The post holder is to ensure that all areas under her/his supervision are left in a good standard of cleanliness and maintaining hygiene regulations as is required by the Environmental Health Officer and Safegard (Sodexo).
  6.  To ensure that the security and safety of all equipment and furniture at all times and recommend the improvements of current practises when necessary.
  7.  To carry out any reasonable request by management relating to the housekeeping of the premises.
  8.  To relieve other post holders during sickness and holiday periods when required.
  9. To maintain a high level of Customer Service when communicating with clients.
  10. To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary from time to time.
