Digital Learning and Development Communities Apprentice

Job Introduction

We’re looking to develop an apprentice through our Digital Learning Support opportunity. This role will give the  opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of business activities within a global facilities management organisation, focusing on support for the Learning and Development function in the provision of highly engaging digital communities of learning and digital presentation of the learning offer.

 

The role will be based flexibly but centered at our Salford office, where the post-holder will be able to build connections with the wider function and benefit from the office facilities when required.

This role, is suitable for applicants looking for an entry into a large multi-national organisation and will provide many opportunities for personal development. The successful candidate will display the right behaviours and attitude towards the type of work involved, previous life experience will be key but prior work experience is not essential and full training will be provided

Role Responsibility

  • Be the key point of contact/support for digital learning communities
  • Prepare L&D reports to be presented to clients and colleagues.
  • Maintenance of the L&D Shop Window on SodexoNet and Ingenium (learning management system)
  • Report on training activities and learning campaigns with the relevant subject matter experts
  • Develop and build digital learning spaces and virtual meeting solutions using provided technologies
  • Create and publish custom web pages and interactive email content using HTML and CSS
  • Provide support for learning communities and solutions within the learning deployment systems in use.
  • Report on Training and Competence Assurance KPIs to senior management.
  • Build awareness of the learning industry and share insights gained with the leadership team
  • Present reports to leadership team(s) and key stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

•    Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
•    Experience in routine administration tasks
•    Aptitude/appetite for reporting, collating information and identifying trends in data
•    Well established skills in MS Office packages
•    Ability in or eagerness to learn HTML and CSS
•    Level 2 or equivalent in Math and English
