Conference Centre Receptionist

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist/Conference Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company. Providing a Front of House service within reception, you will be playing an instrumental role in delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients

Role Responsibility

  • Ensuring that all incoming calls are answered swiftly and efficiently
  • Answer emails relating to event requests
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Meet & Greet
  • Event organising/administration
  • Generate and distribute weekly function sheet
  • Liaise with HOD’s about confirmed bookings
  • Managing the visitor’s system
  • Ensuring a five-star, professional service is delivered to all employees and guests visiting the building
  • Plus, other administration duties.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Reception/Events experience, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Exceptional front of house and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone
  • Computer literacy skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible “can do” attitude
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to liaise with people at a Senior Level

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of customers services principles and practices
  •  Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure
  • SIA Badge
