Compliance and Contracts Manager

Job Introduction

We are on the lookout for a highly experienced Compliance & Contracts Manager for the University of Greenwich (Based at Avery Hill Campus) - one of our most renowned, prestigious city-based sites.  This varied role will see you working in a dynamic, agile environment.  You’ll be assisting the management team in mitigating risk by understanding and supporting the delivery of contractual obligations including, but not limited to, service specifications, performance standards and payment mechanism. A blend of Hard FM, cross-collaborative stakeholder management, strategy, execution, data analysis and leadership.

Role Responsibility

  • Carry out a programme of internal auditing to monitor compliance with all contractual obligations, and local operating procedures.
  • Liaise with Service Delivery Managers
  • Analyse and interpret relevant data and take the lead in producing reports
  • Responsible for the Hard FM team
  • Manage the sub-contractor relationships and performance.
  • Manage the on-site activity
  • Extract and manipulate relevant data from CAFM system into formats required for reports as required
  • Liaise with the Sodexo management team at the University of Greenwich in the production of the reports
  • Work closely with the senior management team to develop and enhance the quality of reporting processes
  • Working with management to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly audits are provided by the
  • Build and amend reports and data dashboards as required
  • Support contract teams in the production of customer satisfaction surveys
  • Support the Head of Commercial and Performance in day-to-day contract administration

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a highly regulated role
  • Proven track record in auditing and audit preparedness
  • An understanding of FM contracts (ideally NEC 4), key performance indicators and deliverables
  • Analytical mind, able to interrogate and interpret data
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel at advanced level (e.g. pivot tables, charts, macros and complex formulas)
  • Experience in the use of software packages to extract, manipulate, report and present data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional
  • Commercial awareness
  • The proven ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
