Community Payback Manager - Advertised on behalf of BeNCH CRC

Job Introduction

BeNCH CRC are currently recruiting for a Community Payback Manager.

You will manage a team of operational staff to meet contractual delivery requirements and ensure service quality is constantly improving. You will work in partnership with other agencies and local stakeholders to ensure co-ordinated service delivery and the positive achievements and outcomes for service users.

If you have excellent people management skills, enjoy building relationships with other stakeholders and agencies, and are good at problem solving this is a great opportunity for you.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure operational delivery of Community Payback at LDU level through direct supervision of CP supervisors and PSO’s
  • Ensure that worksites are audited and pro-social modelling is delivered
  • Ensure and maintain a schedule for supervisors ensuring cover for leave
  • Ensure that tool and vehicle management systems are complied with and to raise stock orders as necessary
  • Undertake periodic quality audits to check compliance with the CP manual
  • Undertake Pro Social Modelling (PSM) assessments of supervisors and PSO’s
  • Meet with LDU beneficiaries and negotiate terms of contribution towards cost.
  • Sign off risk assessments in line with the first line management responsibilities in the CP manual
  • Attend local partnership meetings (e.g CSP) as required

Package Description

Band 5 starting salary of £35,549 per annum

37 hours per week, 27 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, defined contribution pension scheme, company sick pay, group discount scheme

The role covers BeNCH but that the successful candidate can be based at any of our LMCs or Hub.

The role of BeNCH CRC is to rehabilitate service users, reduce reoffending and protect the public and we are one of six CRCs operated by Sodexo Justice Services in the UK.  We work with service users both in the community and in custody to deliver the sentence of the court, to rehabilitate them and to provide a range of programmes and interventions to turn their lives around.  We deliver effective offender management and rehabilitation services to low and medium risk service users and our highly skilled staff work in a range of disciplines to make a real difference.  Our aim is to create a better future for the people we work  with - service users, victims and their families and local communities.  We are proud to have strong relationships with other criminal justice agencies, local authorities, health trusts, employment and training providers, and work with contracted partners to enhance delivery to our service users.
