Chef Manager

Job Introduction

We are actively seeking a passionate Chef Manager in Londonderry who has a strong culinary background working with fresh produce, excellent leadership & management skills with a focus on high standards and attention to detail. The contract has been recently built offering modern facilities. Services offered to our consumers include breakfast, lunch Barista Coffee offer and hospitality when restrictions allow.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Efficient management of the staff restaurant including the preparation of food
  • Day to day management of catering service, ensuring the effective service delivery of the catering operation on behalf of Sodexo.
  • Control and monitor the financial performance
  • Managing the catering team to ensuring the highest standard of service delivery at all times.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to a high standard as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
  • Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Chef with full current Food safety Qualification  
  • Effective and experienced People manager  
  • Experience in managing a P&L.
  • Familiar with all current H&S requirements for role.
  • Self-motivated, passionate and genuine desire to work with and develop a small team
  • Potential to progress into a management role
