About the role
Here at Sodexo, our talented Chefs use their passion to create beautiful dishes using the finest ingredients, whilst being sensitive to nutritional needs and environmental impact. We have a vacancy for you to join our busy team as a Chef at Little Island, Cork!
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for supporting the team in maintaining the highest standard in the preparation, presentation and service of food, within the company standards and the contract specifications.

Being part of a busy team will allow you to demonstrate your excellent service standards, as well as give you opportunities to prepare, cook and present delicious, fresh dishes.
Ideally you’ll need to have:
· NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
· Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates.
Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practices so it is vital that you will champion this.
Package Description
Fixed Term - Full Time
3 months rolling with view to become permanent
Mostly Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm
Parking available, good public transport links
Cycle to work scheme, pension after 6 months, 24 hour GP
