Catering Excellence Manager

Job Introduction

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery and development of the hospitality food offer and services in our staff restaurants and cafes through commercial initiatives, innovation, and system development.  

Supporting consistent delivery of the food offers, promotions and incentives, including coherent tariffs across the South region of the contract. Generate reports from various platforms, analyses and use data to develop the offers. Ensure company audits & documentation are attained to the required standard.

Role Responsibility

  • Understanding of various Systems and platforms and how they work within the business 
  • Communicating and liaising with various stakeholder both internally and external within the contract and wider Sodexo 
  • Support the South contract with Catering administration, which is driven by Sodexo systems like DRIVE, Epos, Twelve Pay, menu cycles, tariff reviews, etc. 
  • Ensure consistency of approach in terms of delivering our food offers and incentives 
  • Ensure compliance is adhered to at sites, this will include allergens, calorie display, HACCP, Health and safety, audit support, etc. 
  • Comply with and promote Sodexo, the Client and statutory regulations relating to compliance and risk management, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH and audits and take any action as is necessary.  
  • Ensure updates are communicated to teams from Sodexo platforms and follow up to monitor progress and landing of implementation. 
  • Support the social value calendar with food related initiatives, special event days, etc. ensuring offers are developed, communicated, and implemented  
  • Generate reports participation and sales reports and be able to analyses and use the data to develop better and effective services  
  • Promote the standards and integrity of the service offer and Service Level Agreement. Carry out service audits and activities detailed in the service offer manual under Key Performance Indicators to the frequency and level required.  
  • Have regular contact with line manager and report activities as required 
  • Attend and hold any meetings and calls in accordance with Sodexo process 
  • To attend to and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and complete the necessary return and/or reports. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Catering experience including legislation and compliance 
  • Good IT skills, data management and reporting, knowledge of Sodexo systems and advantage 
  • Excellent communication skill and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels 
  • The successful candidate will be subject to client specific pre-employment checks

 

Package Description

£30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
