Casual Packers

Job Introduction

 
  • To support the client in packing, reworking and scrapping of the product
  • Maintaining tidiness in the workplace area
  • Supporting the Sodexo Team in downtime of the packing 

Role Responsibility

  • Pallets of cases brought to the line
  • Remove bands from the pallet
  • Remove cardboard cover from the pallet
  • Cut the banding straps on the case bundles
  • Load the packing table with case blanks
  • Remove cardboard tie sheets from the case pallets
  • Open a case black
  • Place the open case in the case erector
  • Fold over the flaps of the case
  • Fill the case with bags or bundles
  • Push the case to the case sealer 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience on a packing line is preferred but not necessary
  • A flexibility to workday and night shifts as well ability to pick up shifts at a short notice is a must
  • Great work ethic
  • Good level of English language (for Health & Safety purposes)
