Business Operations Manager

As a Business Operations Manager at Sodexo on site at Central Bank of Ireland Campus, you are also a skilled communicator and a driving force behind our success. Your role is pivotal in managing and leading the catering services on site, setting the highest standards, and motivating our teams to deliver a service that’s second to none.

You’ll be responsible for achieving financial targets, driving innovation, and identifying business opportunities for future growth.

Role Responsibility

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop the onsite team to achieve their full potential
  • Work with the Group Manager to develop and implement a unit business plan aligned with the division's 3-year plan and
  • Assist in the financial aspects of our contract delivering budgeted profit and turnover in line with the agreed targets.
  • Actively identify and pursue opportunities for business growth within the contract and external market.
  • Ensure prompt provision and efficient service of all meals and catering requirements at the specified time to the standards laid down in the KPI's.
  • Monitor, measure, and manage high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage client relationships, exceeding their expectations and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of all services to agreed standards.
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment and management of the team, including personal development, reward and recognition, performance appraisals, health and safety, and effective communication of shared goals.

The Ideal Candidate

What You bring

  • Leadership and supervisory experience, preferably with experience gained working within catering services, hospitality or facilities management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong team-building skills to motivate and lead a team to achieve their full potential
  • Good financial acumen to manage budgets and financial aspects of the business.
  • Proficiency in front-of-house operations.
