Business Manager (Catering)

Job Introduction

You will oversee the delivery and develop the food offer, services and hospitality within a large, high-profile client site. With self-motivation, ambition and strong people and leadership skills, you will ensure outstanding service delivery that exceeds our client and customer expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced catering professional with authentic leadership, commercial acumen and a passion to deliver high standards of service to join the team.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for food, customer service and innovation as we work closely with local suppliers to ensure we provide fresh, responsibly and locally sourced ingredients, supporting and promoting healthy eating and wellbeing.
 

 

Role Responsibility

  • Oversee the delivery and develop the food offer and services on site, ensuring to deliver high quality services to our client and customer base
  • Ensure prompt and efficient preparation and service in all food areas to the company’s standard and to the client’s satisfaction
  • Lead and develop teams to ensure they are engaged, efficient and providing the best service offer
  • Control and monitor the financial performance and to maintain costs within pre-budgeted targets
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation
  • Effectively manage complex client and customer relationships and seek to evolve new business opportunities
  • Monitor all H&S and FS standards in all service operations and ensure they are maintained at the required level
  • Drive performance through adherence to all promotional activity and marketing initiatives
  • Promote healthy eating, wellbeing and employee satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience and proven track record in a large site catering service management role
  • Previous experience of managing budgets
  • CIEH Level 3 Food Safety Qualification, or equivalent
  • IOSH Managing Safety Qualification, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to adopt a versatile approach in relationship approach
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
  • Approach problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
