Back of House Operative at St. James' Park

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure that all function suites are set as per function sheet as proactively as possible as far in advance as possible.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure storage of equipment, including tables, chairs, crockery, linen, cutlery, glassware and AV equipment.
  • Managing guest deliveries.
  • Assist in the installation and de-rig of pole and drape kit
  • To assist in the cleaning of furniture and upholstery
  • To be aware constantly of amendments to events, accommodating changes as necessary
  • To report any damaged, broken or dirty equipment, removing it from circulation until this can be cleaned, repaired or disposed of.
  • To prepare, clean and stock cellars for events and matchdays.
  • Assisting with beverage deliveries and uplifts.
  • To assist the Front of House team as required, providing the highest possible level of customer service at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a large operation with high volume meetings and events and match day operations
