Cleaning Supervisor - Cambridge Biomedical Campus, CB2 0AA - Permanent Full Time

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will be entrusted with overseeing cleaning services that help create a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all. This will be a hands on role where you will be carrying out cleaning duties as part of your role.

What you'll do:

• Lead and motivate your team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• You will be carrying out cleaning duties yourself.
• Maintain cleanliness in offices, restaurant, kitchens, toilets, meeting rooms, shower rooms, communal areas and laboratories, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Completing schedules, rotas, end of month compliance reports
• Conduct inspections which will be assigned by E-daily (on an electronic device)
• Complete weekly stock takes and manage onsite stock levels
• Champion health and safety practices, conducting regular safety checks and reporting hazards.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to your team to ensure their success and well-being.
• Deliver excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns professionally
• Ensure all team members training is kept up to date
• Liaise with contractors to manage site waste
• Conducting checks on automated equipment to ensure they are operational (eg robotic hoovers, glass cleaners, robotic scrubber driers) and report any defects on these and any other cleaning equipment (eg manual scrubbers, vacuum cleaners).

What you'll bring:

• Previous cleaning supervisor experience
• You’re happy working solo or teaming up with others
• You’re flexible and ready to jump into whatever the day brings with a hands on approach
• You're a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
• Must be computer literate and willing to use hand held electronic devices for having jobs assigned and completing/signing off jobs
• You're proactive
• Resilient, with a can-do attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
