Weekend Catering Assistant
Job Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Weekend Breakfast Cook to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
Role Responsibility
- Setting up counter for breakfast service, ensuring all cutlery, napkins, china etc is topped up.
- Cooking of breakfast for service.
- Process dirty plates etc on trolleys left from nightshift.
- Till operation - Cashless system. Account for any internal issues.
- Process washing up using plate wash machine.
- Pot wash as necessary.
- Ensure breakfast is well stocked and keep counter looking fresh and tidy..
- Top up vending machine's.
- Cash up at the end of service. Close down and sign off till.
- Any cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule
- Remove any rubbish from kitchen, taking out to bins, re-cycling where necessary.
- Clean down work area (sinks and hand-wash sink) Follow correct de-greasing/sanitisation procedure as per training. Ensure sink area/walls clean. Hygienically store/wash any cleaning materials (dishcloths, scourers etc)
- Any other duties as requested.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Essential
- Have experience in a food service environment
- Have basic food preparation and cooking skills
Desirable
- Be effective communicator to all levels
Package Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Weekend Breakfast Cook to join our team. The job entails preparing, cooking and serving a breakfast offer as well as refilling the vending machines.
The hours will be 7am - 11.30am Saturday & Sunday. £8.00 - £10.00 PH
