Senior IFM Lead (Facilities Director)

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Facilities Manager for our GSK contract based in Worthing. Working as the Senior IFM Lead at this multi service contract you will be accountable for the delivery of both technical services and soft services on site.

Working at this high profile site, this role will see you join a highly motivated and service focused team at a true centre for excellence.

Role Responsibility

  • Effectively manage the Sodexo team to ensure that exemplary facilities services are provided at site
  • Manage the full P and L account for all services on site
  • Directly manage a team of line manages as well as indirectly a large staff team.
  • Motivate and lead team to achieve high performance at all times
  • Deliver operational excellence across all Sodexo services, including hard service delivery, catering, cleaning, logistics, grounds maintenance, pest control and laboratory support services (24 services in total)
  • Manage and control the services to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Ensure strong client relationship is developed and maintained, allowing for organic growth opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of managing a range of out sourced services, including technical services.
  • High levels of financial acumen with proven experience of managing a P and L account.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies (six sigma/lean)
  • Ability to lead and manage change programmes on a multi-site basis
  • Strong knowledge of Health and safety and compliance in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships site contracts
