Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Management)

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Management) to join our supply management team based in Stevenage. As the Senior Financial Analyst you will support the Global Finance Head Supply Management in, providing direct support to the Global Indirect Buying teams with regard to financial analyses, modeling, contract evaluation, and performance measurements including savings (business partnering with Indirect & IST team). You will manage the SG&A process; including budget/forecast and ongoing monthly monitoring.

Role Responsibility

  • Business partner to Indirect team and support the buyers – monitor the savings budget progress; provide occasional support in data gathering, model building, RFP preparation etc. 

  • Manage the SG&A for the team – budget, forecast, regular monitoring, year-end close etc. Cooperate with Finance teams in Hubs to coordinate the reporting, explanation of actual results and any other matter related to the accounting for SG&A.  

  • Under guidance from the Savings Manager, support Indirect & Other savings processes as needed, (Regional & Global support) with regard to measurement, tracking, reporting, analyses etc. of Global  & Worldwide savings 

  • Provide support to GSM finance projects as needed under the guidance of Dept. Head

     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified / Part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of MS Excel systems essential (Excel to Macro level)
  • Good Analytical skills; Good presentation skills
  • Ability to focus on continuous improvement and streamline processes, tools etc.
  • Working knowledge of the following systems desirable: SAP / Essbase / MS PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working under pressure and at pace & able to demonstrate working under own initiative, taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements both alone and as part of a wider team
  • Demonstrable communication skills, with the confidence to deal with people at various levels

  • Global mindset, international experience and/or exposure an advantage,
