Role Responsibility
As a Security Officer you could be responsible for:
- Ad-hoc support for our security operations
- Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
- Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, sometimes with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV)
- Supervising the door for a large organisation
- Guarding cash or other valuables in transit in a security vehicle
- Driving vehicles as and when required
- Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- A full current driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar role
- A SIA Licence holder – Manned Guarding Licence, SIA Licence holder – CCTV desirable
- Knowledge of security techniques
- Knowledge of site and local emergency procedures

This is a great opportunity for a focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression. We are offering a fixed 48 hour per week contract covering days and nights based on a site in Milton Keynes, with an annual salary starting at over £20k per annum
Main Responsibilities
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Controlling & recording of all movement of UK and foreign vehicles for our security & transport operations
- Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure
- Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises
- Point of contact out of hours
- Goods receipt of bulk & individual deliveries for site
- Conform to Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures for staff, visitors and contractors
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Own use of transport
- Good command of the English written and verbal language. Any other language skills would be a beneficial
- Excellent awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar role
- A SIA Licence holder – SG or DS
- Knowledge of security techniques
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- Versatility to cover staff holidays
