Security Officer

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • To control access and egress to site.
  • Book in contractors and visitors using access system in line with the current SOP’s/assignment instructions.  
  • Ensuring buildings, valuables & people are safe.
  • Patrolling- securing and monitoring premises.
  • Monitoring closed circuit television (CCTV).
  • Providing support on Health and Safety and Evacuation procedures for site.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Excellent awareness skills.
  • Experience in working in a similar role.
  • A SIA Licence holder – Manned Guarding Licence, SIA Licence holder – (CCTV desirable but not essential).
  • First Aid certificated (desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of security techniques.

Package Description

We have a opportunity available for an experienced Security Officer to join our team based on our Seacroft Leeds site ( LS14 2AR). The site is a 24hour site, 7 days a week all year round.

The working hours are per rota and are worked on a banked hours system in a team of 10 men.

Please note some of the below section is not applicable. The main duties are to control access and egress to site, book in contractors and visitors  using access system.   Ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure patrolling, securing and monitoring premises, with the aid of closed circuit television (CCTV).

Uniform is provided and full training is given. The applicant must have a current SIA licence.
