Security Control Room Operative

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Security Control Room Operator to join one of our key contracts.  You will be a self motivated individual who has experience of working with numerous CCTV systems, with an understanding of security practises.

Role Responsibility

As a Control Room Operator you will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing and monitoring of the CCTV systems
  • Monitoring the security surveillance delivery
  • Assisting the Control Room Manager to manage all CCTV equipment, specification, and maintenance
  • Assisting in conducting investigations
  • Monitoring and reviewing all group reported crime and breaches of relevant law, collate information and submit reports
  • Assist the Control Room Manager to collate monthly reports
  • Maintaining up to date records of crime trends and criminals
  • Liaising with police, emergency services & all other regulatory authorities in the absences of managers
  • Monitoring service delivery from security suppliers
  • Submitting to security training as dictated by Control Room Manager 

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous experience of working within the security industry
  • Demonstrable experience of working with CCTV or alarm monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of the security function
  • Be computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly motivated individual who is able to operate and maintain focus under pressure
  • Ideally hold the relevant SIA Licence

Package Description

* £19700 PA

* Please note this is a Night Controller Position

* Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off

* CCTV License Essential

* Shift times: 19:00PM to 7:00AM
