Retail Catering Manager
Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Retail Catering Manager to drive the student feeding operation for a high profile city centre university campus.
Role Responsibility
- Develop and operate a compelling catering retail business, providing student services across a restaurant, Costa Coffee outlets and hospitality
- Drive innovation in product delivery and customer service, anticipating and leading market trends
- Engage and motivate the team to increase sales and efficiency
- Analyse sales and labour figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximise profit
- Monitor all areas and all aspects of delivery to ensure services are to an exceptional level
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems and processes.
- Ensure the highest quality of food, beverages and customer service as per Company standards and client expectation.
- Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Management experience within the retail and catering, ideally from a high street chain
- Experience of leading a team within a food retail environment
- Industry acumen and knowledge of high street trends and innovations
- Strong promotional and marketing skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to communicate at all levels of the business
- Excellent client relationship skills and ability to develop strong and profitable relationships
