Recruitment and Training Manager – Sporting Event

Job Introduction

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Sodexo within our Prestige Sport, Leisure and Travel business and to be involved in building a team for a key sporting event. Sodexo provide a range of hospitality to venues and events from the Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot, Open Golf and Henley Royal Regatta.

Role Responsibility

This role will involve creating and coordinating a team of both Sodexo personnel and supplier partners to deliver the staffing element of the event. You will be key in articulating to the staff how to deliver a fantastic service and fostering team spirit between the delivery team, supplier partners and the client. You will control the staff the accreditation process for all staff in an efficient and secure manner, manage the production of a wage forecast planner for the set-up and operational days and control all labour lines (casual labour, staff, transport, accommodation and uniform). This role will work with the project team, HR Business Partners, Supplier partners and the Learning and Development Team to deliver a fantastic event.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous event and staffing experience
  • Management of a budgets, forecasts
  • Recruitment knowledge and experience in terms of process and interview and selection for casual positions.
  • Presentation skills to present information appropriately at all levels.

Package Description

Circa £35,000 + benefits

12 month contract
