Primary Mental Healthcare Team Leader

Working within our Healthcare team, as Team Leader you will provide day to day clinical leadership of primary care services.
Role Responsibility
- Provide clinical leadership to support the work of the primary care team
- Maintain fitness to practice for self and registered registered nurses in prepaqration for re-validation
- Maintain skills and knowledge of the team by facilitating education and training
- Lead and work effectivey as part of the primary care team
- Ensure clear, accurate and defensable documentation is maintained with regular audit
- Co-ordinate and support external providers of healthcare
- Facilitate education of undergraduates
- Provide guidance and support to staff with PDR’s,1:1’s, weekly huddles
- Maintain a clean and safe,environment
- Participate in the recruitment of staff
- Assist in clinical audit
- Investigate and manage complaints
- Ensure department is staffed appropriately at all times by managing off duty and holiday allocation
- Contribute toward development of policies and procedures locally and corporately
The Ideal Candidate
- NMC registered RMN
- Proven experience in Mental Health
- Able to demonstate track record in decision making
- Previous leadership role highly desirable
