Role Responsibility
As a Porter you will be responsible for:
- The delivery of a range of services in porter duties including, front of house, back of house and set up
- Knowledge of Fire Safety, Health and Safety is essential
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Computer literate
- Well presented and possess excellent communication skills
- Experience of working on your own initiative and be thorough and accurate in your reporting of incidents
- The ability to demonstrate great team work
Package Description
Woodbank Hotel, Aberdeen are currently looking to recruit a talented and friendly Night Porter to work between 2 - 4 nights per week.
Main responsibilities will include:
- To provide front-line security by ensuring all guests are properly admitted
- To act as ‘cashier’ for all hotel activities
- To manage incoming telephone calls to the Reception
- To provide security checks overnight and during closure periods
- To carry out cleaning and hygiene tasks as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Have a up to date First Aid Certificate
- Provide consistently high standards of service
- Have good team working skills
