Marketing Operations Manager

Job Introduction

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who wants to utilise their technical abilities and lead our marketing automation platform and technology work stream.

The role of Marketing Operations Manager will be a key part of the Global Corporate Services Sales Enablement function and so we are looking for somebody to bring marketing automation expertise and leadership into the business as well as be able to balance the needs of the global Corporate Services Sales Enablement strategy with broader Group initiatives.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Lead the Marketing Automation platform work stream of the global Corporate Services Sales Enablement strategy
  • Support global Sales Enablement campaign planning
  • Join the Sodexo digital community – aligning with Brand & Comms and Group digital channel owners
  • Support the Sales Enablement team in strategic workshops and meetings
  • Lead platform related internal and external workshops and meetings
  • Manage the integration of the marketing automation platform with the global CRM for Corporate Services
  • Manage supplier relationships for all aspects relating to marketing automation
  • Contact database management – aligned to CRM and Marketo
  • Manage the build phase of marketing automation projects
  • Aid the mapping and implementation of processes and workflows
  • Manage all testing activity
  • Face to face and online training / coaching of sales and operations teams
  • Lead social amplification tactics with Sodexo SME’s
  • Represent Sodexo and its brand values at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Management:

  • Strategic thinker and hands on executioner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication.
  • Organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Project management skills and ability to deliver on time.
  • Passion for marketing technology
  • Energetic team player.
  • Analytical mind to analyse data and metrics and translate insight into actionable plans.

Technical:

  • Must have a proven marketing and IT technical background in campaign management, while working with and supporting business users
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in using marketing automation platforms 
  • Marketo Certified Expert
  • MCSA, Pardot consultant or Salesforce sales solution consultant certified
  • Experience of defining requirements (interpreting business requirements into system implications)
  • Solid writing skills and experience creating marketing content
  • Experience of multi-channel campaign management
  • Knowledge of global data privacy legislation including GDPR
