Laboratory Instrument Support Operational Coordinator (LIS)

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for an LIS Operational Coordinator for our GSK contract. The role is designed to provide Lab Instrument Support Services and will directly assist in the management, development and growth of existing and new business within the Pharmaceutical sector for Sodexo.

We are looking for an enginnering expert with strong financial accumen for the exciting science focused role.

If successful you will be required to travel across the country to a number of our GSK sites.

Role Responsibility

 

You will be required to provide operational leadership within the remit of LIS, as required by Sodexo to help develop existing services couple with supporting growth as well as manage and control the services to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.

You will co-ordinate all LIS engineering activity and site attendance strategy whilst supporting the engineers. As the specialist you will manage all financial aspects of LIS services working closely with Sodexo stakeholders.

Financial reporting and month end financial finalisation and oversight as well as developing and managing performance metrics will be areas of responsibility.

You will Monitor key LIS operational elements and support LIS and Supply Chain team members with vendor appraisal

The Ideal Candidate

  • LIS background and good understanding of the core role elements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship management abilities at all levels
  • Experience working in a standards/compliance, GxP environment
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience
  • Self-motivated, being able to make decisions when required
  • Perform against the service level agreement.
  • Manage escalation of issues to achieve a suitable conclusion
  • Understanding of Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Laboratory Instrument Support ordering process
  • Vendor scheduling process
  • Contracts Management Process
