Health, Safety and Environmental Executive (with Food Safety)

Job Introduction

As HSE Executive (Head of Health Safety and Environmental with food safety) for Defence and Governments Services segment, you'll enable the operational and functional management, and front-line team members to be compliant with Sodexo UKI’s HSE Policies and drive continual improvement in HSE culture and performance. 

You'll liaise, advise and work with the Segment Executive team and other key stakeholders on all areas of Health and Safety to develop strategic improvements and objectives.

An excellent opportunity for an accomplished and highly credible HSE senior professional to showcase how, through their leadership and direction, the health, safety, environmental and risk management plan adds value to the Global and UK&I strategy and consequently drives improvement in health, safety and risk performance across the segment


Defence:

Role Responsibility

Reporting to the Divisional Director, you'll lead the HSE contract based teams to support continued professional development, ensuring managers and colleagues receive suitable and sufficient information, instruction and training in all matters HSE to enable compliance with statutory legislation and company policy, driving consistently across all parts of the business .

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in managing health and safety in a multi-site environment
  • Experience of managing a team, strong leadership skills
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Food safety experience
  • Experience in risk management and business continuity planning
  • Articulate and able to confidently present to all levels of management and colleagues
  • Effective influencing skills and stakeholder management
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • A team player

Package Description

Competitive salary of £54,500-£60,100 plus benefits including bonus, car, pension, flexible benefits scheme etc
