Head of Sales – Venues/Hospitality

Job Introduction

Due to an exciting restructure we are looking to recruit a strong sales manager to lead the teams across our fantastic range of venues in London, driving sales objectives and proactively managing key account performance. This is an exceptional role for a motivated sales professional who is looking to grow their career within a leading, global business.

Role Responsibility

You will look to achieve sales objectives and targets for the London Portfolio of Sports & Leisure venues through a targeted sales plan and leading the teams to success. Promoting a culture of high performance, you will ensure there is a clear strategy across the venues, communicate best practice and drive team engagement.  Taking ownership for the development of larger accounts especially across the London market, you will undertake meetings and seek out networking opportunities to grow the business further. Utilising support from other Sodexo departments you will build an internal network, from marketing to learning and development, who will support you in this exciting new opportunity. This role offers the flexibility to be customer facing whilst also managing a team and implementing the UK sales strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Significant experience in direct sales, preferably in hotel, venue or hospitality sales
  • Keen commercial acumen to grow and maximise sales in a highly target driven environment
  • Proven track record in recruiting, developing, managing and engaging a successful and high-performing sales team
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a large and complex business environment 
  • Ability to align and influence different stakeholders and work alongside other functions to achieve collective business objectives
  • Experience in implementing best practice and innovation in a sales team environment
  • Experience in budget management and measuring sales performance
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

Package Description

£40,000 - £45,000 + 23% Bonus + Benefits
