Hard Services Manager

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to further your facilities management careers with one of our IFM contracts in Scotland. We require an experienced Hard Services Manager to oversee the delivery of Sodexo’s services on site. Some travel to other sites will be required.

Role Responsibility

  • The day to day management of the maintenance and operation of the Technical Services on site
  • Deliver operational excellence across all Sodexo services
  • Implementing and managing Maintenance policies for the Technical Services Department
  • Ensure delivery of contract to agreed level of quality
  • Holding regular meetings with clients to review performance and to develop strong working relationship
  • To formulate, develop and implement systems that will ensure plant is maintained and operated to its optimum efficiency
  • Ensure the highest levels of Health and Safety are achieved across the site

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships in a similar 3rd party business
  • Technical/Engineering background, with proven track record on established maintenance practices such as CAFM driven process, HVAC, electrical/gas compliance
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to work with very senior client figures
  • Broad commercial experience and business acumen and knowledge of external industry developments
  • Experienced in implementing company initiatives and change management processes 
  • Experience in identifying and selling new business
  • Experience in leading, and managing a high performing team
