HR and Learning and Development Coordinator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a HR and L&D Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • Identify resource pools and optimum tools to access these
  • To support the recruitment process from Candidate application, screening through to appointment 
  • To facilitate the onboarding process, from appointment through full induction period to ensure early engagement
  • To administrate all new starter access, screening and equipment requirements
  • Liaising with key expert resources to provide guidance on opportunities and resources for development for managers and their teams
  • Facilitate L&D using a multiple platform approach including developing and designing learning programs
  • Support talent identification and succession planning
  • Bridging and connecting HR resources to BAU supervisors and managers
  • First line advice for managers on employment compliance requirements e.g. right to work, Working Time Directive, Data Protection (employee data)
  • Support and monitor all compliance requirements including HR policies, procedures and quality processes
  • Building users supported by Service Stream Leads and teams to avoid disruption to client business

The Ideal Candidate

  • Desire for continuous improvement and motivation to learn and develop own skill set
  • The ability to work on own initiative, managing own workload and demonstrating personal accountability in the delivery of day to day work and projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills (verbal and written) with the confidence to effectively challenge others’ thinking when appropriate.
  • Flexible approach with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Confidentiality when working with personal and sensitive information
  • High level of attention to detail ensuring accurate work
  • Willingness and ability to be mobile across all Campus buildings
