Food Service Assistant

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

Our Food Service Assistants are responsible for greeting and serving customers in a professional, warm, friendly and genuine manner.  Also be responsible for preparing and serving a range of beverages and cafe foods in line with client requirements and Sodexo standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Warm, friendly and genuine with excellent all round communication skills
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with colleagues and customers whilst maintaining a professional image at all times
  • Previous experience of a coffee shop/ café environment
  • Have an interest in sports and nutrition, but this is not essential
  • Previous experience of till operation and cash procedures
  • Previous conferencing & hospitality experience, though again this is not essential as training will be provided
  • Methodical and thorough with persistence to see the job through to conclusion
