Fitness & Wellbeing Instructor
Job Introduction
We are looking for a full-time Fitness Instructor with knowledge of Yoga or Pilates to join our team at an onsite corporate gym in the Dublin 15 area.
We are looking for a truly knowledgeable, inspirational and self-motivated individual to join our team and deliver a world class service to our members.
The club is open Monday to Friday from 07.00am to 19.00pm and closed weekends and all bank holidays.
Role Responsibility
• To make sure all members are correctly inducted, inducted and that suitable fitness programmes are issued and regularly reviewed and updated
• Ability to be innovative to develop new ideas/classes to obtain more members
• To work with our current membership base & develop new membership’s initiatives
• To work closely with the Senior Management Team
• To ensure safety by eliminating potential risks & hazards
• To ensure the highest level of customer care
• To ensure that all equipment is operated in line with trained instructions and is maintained in a clean working condition
• To ensure that all work complies with company health & safety/fire safety standards & is adhered to at all times
• Ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the facility is always of the highest standard
• Attending monthly feedback meetings.
The Ideal Candidate
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and extensive knowledge of leisure industry
• Qualified to teach a wide range of classes - HIIT/Circuit/Spinning/Kettlebell/TRX...
• Must be a motivated and committed individual
• Extensive focus on Health and Safety
• Flexibility is essential
• Gym Instructors Cert
• Fitness Instructor Qualifications (NCEF,NCHES, ITEC)
• First Aid Certified and Trained
• Knowledge of pilates or yoga or similar discipline a bonus.
• Good understanding of the physiology and anatomy of physical exercise
