Executive Development Chef

Are you a food development professional looking for a new challenge?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic Executive Development Chef oversee the food offering for global corporate client and their UK Head Office. This is a high profile role and requires an organised individual who can drive innovation, food offering development, forward planning and food production management.
Role Responsibility
- Work with Chefs across the business to develop a high quality food offering for an employee restaurant, catering for up to 1,400 on site
- Inspire a team of Chefs, providing training and coaching as necessary.
- Develop innovative and commercial menus, review food offerings and analyse costs to ensure that we deliver great food and profit
- Provide strategic input into the development and planning of the catering operation
- Manage all aspects of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Ensure financial documentation and accountancy of the unit (and those from suppliers) is accurate and within agreed budgeted levels.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar development role, ideally within a multi-site role or managing a large central production
- Excellent craft skills/qualifications
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments and innovations
- Good financial awareness
- Personal innovation and passion
- Experience working in a standards/compliance environment
