Engineering Compliance and Training Coordinator

We now have an exciting role based at one of key clients, this role is an interesting opportunity that involves reviewing, revising and training of Engineering, Security and Emergency Management Procedures for Site Services.

Role Responsibility

  • To provide and facilitate the delivery of training.
  • To govern the site engineering change management process – working closely with the Engineering Leadership, to ensure that documentation is generated in a consistent and standard format.
  • Responsible for the storage filing and access of all engineering documentation.
  • To provide support as required to the Engineering and Facilities Management groups.
  • To involve all relevant parties/departments, in the development/review of all engineering, security and site emergency procedures; including obtaining appropriate approval or review signatures.
  • Arrange and organise training sessions for all newly approved procedures and for new starters in the Engineering and Site Services departments.
  • To ensure that all training records for Engineers and Site Services in house staff are retained and filed on relevant databases.
  • Ensure that Project Engineers provide the correct documentation to be included in Project files, O&M information in System Folders and/or CDM Building H&S files.
  • Audit and own the Change Control Process.
  • Custodian of the Engineering document store.
  • To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the Client.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Experience within a multi-disciplined Maintenance Environment.
  • A sound knowledge and awareness of engineering systems.
  • Practical and demonstrated use of Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstration of practical administration and organisational skills.
  • IOSH Managing Safety.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence to present/train procedures to a large audience.
  • GCSE Level or equivalent in English Language.
