Employee and Change Communications Manager

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Sodexo is the 18th largest employer in the world, with some 420,000 employees working across 80 countries globally. In the UK and Ireland, we have 34,000 employees providing integrated services across some 2,300 client sites, including corporate offices, hospitals, schools, universities, prisons, military garrisons, sports stadia and visitor attractions.

To better capitalise on our global footprint and worldwide expertise, we have recently reviewed the way we operate to ensure we bring the best of Sodexo to our clients and consumers. As part of this review, we have created a new Service Operations team, which will be critical to unlocking our growth potential and helping us to build our global brand

Role Responsibility

We are now recruiting for an internal communications manager to support our Service Operations team in the UK and Ireland. This is a new and exciting role and presents a great opportunity for an experienced internal communications expert to make their mark and have a real impact on the performance of the business.

Our Service Operations team brings together a whole host of subject matter experts from across the business to standardise best practice and help our operational teams deliver the Sodexo experience to our clients and consumers.

The team includes service line experts, health and safety professionals, contract management specialists, as well as whizzes in bid support and contract mobilisation.

The role of internal communications manager for Service Operations in the UK and Ireland will play a key role in supporting the development of a cohesive, engaged and high-performing team, focused on supporting the growth of our business.

As well as supporting the Service Operations leadership team in the effective deployment of their strategy through a well-considered communications plan, you will be responsible for raising the profile of the team across the wider business and demonstrating the value Service Operations can bring to our site-based teams.

While you will be part of the regional brand and communications team, reporting directly to our employee and change communications director, you will need to work closely with the Service Operations leadership team, so confidence and resilience are must-have credentials. You will also be expected to work closely with our global brand and communications director for Service Operations to share ideas and best practice, so the ability to manage stakeholder expectations would be a great asset.
