E-learning Internship

Job Introduction

Sodexo has entered into a five year, €200M revenue per annum contract with Unilever - a leading global consumer goods company - to deploy a comprehensive services solution globally. This contract continues the global services delivery strategy initiated with other accounts within the International Large Accounts (ILA) division and will also provide the framework for future global business.

The internship will support the need to sustain and streamline the knowledge sharing across the account as we expand into new geographies through the build of a set of e-learning modules which will help the realisation of the learning strategy for the account.

Role Responsibility

The main success factor for this internship will be the completion of the modules as per plan, in line with the scripts that have been produced for each unit.

The position will be accountable for the following activities:

  • Using the self-authoring tool, build the agreed e-learning modules within timeframes and specifically:
  • Transform the scripted documents into e-learning packages ready to be distributed including build-in evaluations
  • Arrange for the voice-over to be recorded and added to the tool
  • Ensure external links and animations works for a seamless end-user experience
  • Liaise with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) to:
  • Ensure relevant examples are build in the e-learning (if not already available)
  • Appropriate graphics and images are used from the Sodexo Image bank and the Brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Guarantee that external links (i.e. Sharepoint) and materials added to the design work technically and correspond to the latest available version
  • Ensure that the relevant SME has signed off final build

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Power Point)
  • Hands-on and pro-active approach with an ability to work well in autonomy
  • Good project management and time management skills
  • Presentation skills, ability to work and interact in a collaborative way with people from different backgrounds and functions

Desirable

  • Experience of working with Articulate Storyline and/or other self-authoring tool currently on the market
  • Second European Language
  • In order to facilitate the working relationship with the Learning and Development Manager, ideally the position will be based in London but other European locations will be considered.
