Corporate Receptionist

Job Introduction

Providing Front of House services within reception, you will be playing an instrumental role in delivering customer service to both internal and external clients. Duties include, welcoming visitors and staff, delivering a hosting / concierge experience for visitors coordinating meeting and hospitality bookings. Ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met and exceeded. There will be some element of supporting the facilities team with facilities related tasks.

Role Responsibility

  • Some degree of Facilities background would be advantageous
  • To work as part of the Front of House /Facilities team delivering an exemplary customer experience for visitors to the Atkins Group Headquarter
  • Act as first point of contact for all queries in an efficient and concise manner
  • Informing visitors of local area rules
  • Good communicator
  • Issuing security ID passes  - building access control and maintain security pass system         
  • Meet and greet all visitors, keep log, issue pass     
  • Advise host of visitor’s arrival        
  • Customer focused
  • Act as point of contact for internal/ external telephone queries in an efficient and concise manner
  • Have Basic Health and Safety Knowledge
  • Where appropriate to report of accidents and incidents
  • To be responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of their Colleagues
  • Keep reception tidy and presentable          
  • Basic report writing ability
  • Good Observation Skills
  • Completing administration tasks as required
  • Provide response to fire alarms

Maintain meeting room key log and issue keys to those using communal conference facilities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Some facilities experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone
  • Right to work in the UK without restriction
  • Ability to liaise with people at a Senior Level
  • Experience working in a similar environment
  • Experience operating switchboard
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desirable

 

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C (including Maths & English) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customers services principles and practices
  •  Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure
