Job Introduction

This role is to develop and deliver timely, relevant and accurate communication to customers, clients and colleagues, positively building the reputation of Sodexo Defence as a valued partner of the armed forces community. Whilst engaging key stakeholders with a variety of tailored online and innovative communication methods including social media.

Role Responsibility

This is a varied communications role that involves a range of internal and external communications to drive engagement and customer satisfaction. You will be collating and preparing communications such as the Defence weekly bulletins and monthly partnering newsletters, proof reading quarterly regional/contract newsletters, checking content, accuracy and overall brand consistency across Defence and producing collateral for careers fayres and other external exhibitions, conferences and events. In addition you will hold customer focus groups and feedback recommendations as required by contract directors and support the Defence internal recognition award nomination programme. You will be leading the Defence regional communications champions group, hosting monthly conference calls, collating feedback and providing direction. The role will also involve liaising with the communications team with Sodexo’s UK head office and supporting group activities.

  • Presentation skills
  • Creative vision
  • Attention to detail
  • PC literate on all main MS programmes
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects at any given time
  • Ideally previous experience in either PR or internal communications
