Cleaner (Evening)

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and hard working cleaner to undertake general cleaning duties on site during the evening. Role Responsibility

As a Cleaner you will be responsible for:

  • General tidying which will include vacuuming, polishing, emptying of bins, replenishing supplies etc
  • Disposal of waste to external bins
  • Cleaning of toilet of toilets, hand basins, carpets and floors

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Prior knowledge cleaning chemicals/products
  • Good customer service skills
  • Methodical approach and great eye for detail

Package Description

  • Hours - Monday to Thursday 18.00hrs – 21.00hrs & Friday 17.00hrs – 20.00hrs
  • Total Weekly Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Rate of pay: £6.62 per hour
  • Duties vary depending on the building such as cleaning production areas, clean air rooms, and other specific electronic and aerospace environments. Duties will also include a range of other general cleaning dirties such as offices, tea-bar areas, toilets, dusting, other related general tasks
  • The use of a vacuum cleaner will be required. The use of a buffer, carpet cleaner and scrubber/ dryer machine may also be required, however, training will be given
  • A driving license is desirable as some driving may be required
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site; including your own vehicle. Smoking is only permitted  off-site during the official half hour unpaid break, however, with this role of three hours, there is no official break
  • A DBS check is required - (formally a CRB check)
  • This is an MOD site so MOD regulations apply
