Chef Manager

Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit a Chef Manager to ensure the smooth running of service provision within the contract scope whilst achieving an acceptable balance with health and safety, cost accountability and, at all times, maintaining company values.

Excellent cooking knowledge will be required along with being able to work within the constraints of a challenging budget.

If you have previous experience of kitchen operations and managing a small team, this is an exciting new opportunity for you.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure a high quality of food production is achieved at all times
  • Review and maintain individual budgets and monitor/ action performance
  • Undertake administrative activities for Client Organisations and for Sodexo ensuring Company/Statutory Regulations are met
  • Report on business activities and financial performances
  • Plan, implement, monitor and control both quality and quantity of service to Company standards
  • Ensure compliance on food and H&S legislation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in the preparation and production of high quality food
  • Track record of site management ability as well as experience in operational management
  • Possess a high level of customer service and technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels within the organisation and with clients
  • Experience of managing projects within a service environment and maximising the performance
  • Strong administrative and financial background with a good knowledge of IT.
