Central Accommodation Booking Service (CABS) Operator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a CABS Operator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • Operation of the CABS booking system. (Training to be given)
  • Taking telephone calls from customers
  • Dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Sending paperwork to customers on request via email or Fax.
  • Attend meetings relevant to CABS with your Line Manager.
  • To undertake Health and Safety duties commensurate with the post and/or as detailed by the company’s Health and Safety Policy.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have experience of having worked with the public/military either through telephone contact or face-to-face and have a sound working knowledge of the military chain of command.
  • Be computer literate with good keyboard skills. Fully conversant with MS Office software on current issue.
  • Be accurate and organised
  • Thrive under pressure
  • Be a committed team member
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be in possession of a clean, current driving licence

Above all you must have the ability to work in a busy environment and the confidence to  speak to customers at a variety of levels.
