Catering Supervisor - Unilever

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and hardworking Supervisor to join our Catering team. The person we are seeking should have excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbal. We are looking for a person with the ability to think on their feet whilst still being able to follow strict processes and being able to cope with periods of high pressure. The ideal candidate will be flexible and proactive, presenting a confident and competent customer focused service.

Role Responsibility

• Working closely with the management and control clerk on day to day duties, including cash handling,
• Training of the on-site team.
• Managing and co-ordinating Third Party contractors.
• Monitoring staff rotas including absences and cover where necessary.
• Holding team meetings and engaging with the team ensuring that they understand and ‘live’ the core values of Sodexo.
• To act as Fire Warden and First Aid trained person in an emergency situation.
• Ordering from nominated suppliers.
• Maintaining files and undertaking administration tasks.
• Promote Health and Safety awareness on site and provide up to date documentation as required.
• Monitoring email system and communications appropriately.
• Liaising with the Site Operations Team.
• Cover any absences in all areas of the catering team.
• Monitoring standards and conducting audits

The Ideal Candidate

• Computer skills to produce spreadsheets and other documentation as required MS Word, Excel and other applications.
• Excellent customer services record.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• A proactive attitude.
• Level 3 food safety
• Iosh – Managing safely
