Catering Manager

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to lead the corporate catering operation for a high profile IFM client. This role will have a strong focus on business improvement and will require an innovative manager to develop new menus and food offerings, drive sales and grow the hospitality services.

Role Responsibility

  • Efficient management of the employee catering services for up to 1400 people on site (breakfast, lunch and evening services)
  • Managing a team of 12 to deliver a high quality service at all times and continuously improve standards.
  • Control and monitor the financial performance of the unit and to maintain costs within pre-budgeted targets.
  • Ensure high levels of standard as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
  • Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Catering Manager, ideally managing corporate operation
  • Experience of managing a team within a catering environment
  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships for contracts
  • Experience in identifying and selling new business and developing offerings
  • Good financial awareness and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flair and passion for excellent food and service
  • Excellent IT skills
